The Maja Table by Mayze Atelier brings minimalist grandeur to life through sculptural balance and timeless materiality. Carved entirely from Italian Arabescato marble, Maja’s silhouette is defined by its softened rectangular top—an elongated oval with gently rounded corners—and a monolithic pillar base that anchors the piece in quiet strength.

The surface showcases expressive veining in tones of grey, taupe, and white—each line unique, like brushstrokes captured in stone. With its seamless form and organic symmetry, Maja offers an architectural focal point for serene interiors, entryways, and refined dining spaces.

Maja is crafted by default in Arabescato marble, featuring soft veining across a creamy white canvas. We also offer the following stone options upon request:

Mayze Atelier proudly accepts custom orders for all of our Travertine, Oak Wood, and Calcutta pieces, with a maximum length of 70 inches and a maximum height of 45 inches.

To place a custom order:

  1. Select the “Custom Size” option from the dropdown menu.
  2. Select your preferred finish , and preferred shipping method from the drop down menu.
  3. HoneyBook order total will display as $0 — this is a placeholder.
  4. Include the correct shipping address for the order at check out. Please include the following:
    full shipping address and postal code (required to calculate an accurate shipping quote). Place your order which will total to 0$ initially at checkout.
  5. In the order note, include any other custom specifications - examples: fluted legs , rounded edges .
  6. In 24 hours, you will receive a personalized price quote via email.
  7. Respond to the email communication and confrim your specifications , and your pricing detaails.
  8. Contract and invoice through our HoneyBook platform, where you can securely complete your order.
  9. Sign your contract , purchase your invoice , and your order will offically be placed in our custom order fullfillment system.

  • Disassemble for Transport: Always disassemble items for moving, and transport tabletops on their sides, wrapped and secured.

  • Proper Usage: Do not use the furniture for purposes other than intended—such as sitting or standing on top of it—and always follow the product assembly instructions.

  • Wipe the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris.

  • After wiping, use a dry, clean cloth to buff the surface and remove any moisture.

Dealing with Spills:

  • For tougher spills or stains, mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water and gently clean the affected area using a soft sponge or cloth. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

  • For oil-based stains, use a baking soda and water paste. Apply the paste to the stain, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it sit for 24 hours before wiping it clean.
    Sealing the Surface:

    Travertine is a porous material, so consider applying a stone sealant every 6-12 months to protect it from moisture and staining.

Stain Prevention:

  1. Use coasters, placemats, or trays to protect the surface from spills, especially from liquids that contain acids like citrus, wine, or vinegar, which can cause etching.
  2. Avoid placing high-pigment items like berries, coffee, or red wine directly on the table, as they may cause staining.
  3. If spills occur, blot them immediately with a soft cloth. Do not rub, as this could spread the stain.

Avoid:

  • Acidic or abrasive cleaners, vinegar, lemon juice, or bathroom cleaners, as they can etch and damage the surface.
  • Dragging heavy objects across the table, as this could scratch or chip the stone.

How Long Does Production Take?

Production times vary based on the type of item ordered. Please note , as a fully custom retail store, all items unless otherwise specified in the item description "as ready to ship" are exclusively made to order:

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Shipping costs are pre-calculated into the price of each product. Clients are not subject to any additional shipping or duties fees at checkout or upon receiving their order.

At Mayze Interiors, we believe in transparent pricing—our promise to our clients is that shipping and duties are always 100% free.

Do You Offer International Shipping?

Yes! We offer international shipping on all orders—small, medium, and large. There are no zip codes that our fulfillment team cannot reach. Regardless of location, all orders will be fulfilled.

If for any reason we cannot ship to your location using our standard fulfillment methods, we will notify you to discuss an alternative shipping solution or provide a full refund if necessary.

I'd Like to Rush My Order

Rush orders are accepted regardless of the size of the order. Each rush order is subject to a $750 USD fee to skip our order queue.

Rush Order Benefits

How Do I Track My Order?

For accessories and product care kits, a tracking number will be provided once your order has been fulfilled. Orders are shipped from Ontario via UPS Standard, and you will receive your tracking number via email.

For all furniture orders (small, medium, and large), shipping is done via sea transport. The estimated shipping time is specified in the dropdown before you place your order.

How Sea Transport Works

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation stating that your item is en route.

Only after the order has docked at the port will you receive a truck transportation tracking number relative to your country.

Our truck transportation team will also contact you via the phone number and email provided during the initial purchase of the order to coordinate the delivery date.

Customs Clearance

Each country has different customs clearance times.

Customs clearance takes 2-8 days upon the ship’s arrival at port.

Only after customs clearance is completed can we arrange truck transport for final delivery.

Please note that Mayze Interiors does not control customs clearance times, and this process must be factored into your total wait time.

What Does Furniture Delivery Look Like?

For large furniture items such as dining tables large sofas and bed frames, we offer White Glove Delivery to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. Alternatively, we also provide standard delivery, both of which are fully insured. In the rare case of accidental damage during shipping, your order will either be reimbursed or we will cover the cost of repairs, depending on the extent of the damage.

Please note that White Glove Delivery is not included in the total item cost but is an additional service. We contract third-party White Glove teams to facilitate this specialized delivery, and pricing is subject to their independent rates and fees. Unless White Glove Delivery is purchased, your order will follow the standard delivery process.

For smaller items like coffee tables and side tables, we use palletized freight shipping when White Glove services are unavailable.

What does Made-to-Order mean?

A Made-to-Order item means the piece is crafted specifically for you. Once we receive your order, our artisans begin the production process, ensuring every design is handcrafted from start to finish. This process can take some time.

Specifically:

  • Dining Chairs: 10-15 days

Once your piece is completed, it will be shipped to our warehouse for dispatch. You’ll receive a shipping notification when your order is on its way.

Do You Currently Support Ready-To-Ship Orders?

No, Mayze Interiors does not currently support ready-to-ship orders. Each item is made from scratch by hand by our team, ensuring that you are the only one who has it. Each individual order is subject to its own production time before fulfillment, depending on the specific product collection.
