What is the return policy?
Return Policy (Quick View):
Clients have 3 days from the time of delivery to request a return if an item arrives broken or defective. Once Mayze confirms the item is indeed damaged or defective, clients are entitled to a full refund including shipping costs. All shipped items are fully insured for protection.
If an item is returned due to reasons other than damage , Mayze will refund the item costs less shipping fees for the order. Mayze will cover the cost of return shipping within North America, and the UK. For orders outside these regions, clients are responsible for the costs of returning the item to our receiving address in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Please note that custom orders are non-refundable. Every custom piece is carefully approved with the client during the design phase, and final approval is given through photo or video inspection prior to release.
Are any purchases final sale?
Yes. Sale items are considered final sale and cannot be returned. Additionally, all custom orders are final sale, as each piece is approved in detail with the client during the design phase and confirmed through final photo or video inspection prior to release.
When will I get my order?
For orders placed on or after August 25, 2025, our typical production + release timeline is 6–10 weeks.
Need it sooner? Expedited custom production can be made available (~6–8 weeks) upon request.
Please allow ~1 additional week for customs clearance and final-mile delivery once your piece has shipped. You’ll receive tracking by email; delivery windows vary by destination.
WHAT IS CUSTOMS CLEARANCE?
Customs clearance is the government-controlled process that allows imported goods to enter your country. It can add time beyond our production timeline. Typical steps include:
Document review: Customs/broker checks the commercial invoice, packing list, country of origin, and product details.
Assessment of duties/taxes: Applicable import duties, VAT/GST, or fees are calculated.
Security/quality inspections (if selected): Random or risk-based checks may occur.
Release to carrier: After duties are paid and any inspections are completed, the shipment is released for local delivery.
Important: Customs is managed by government agencies and third‑party brokers—no retailer can control or expedite this process directly, it is entirely dependent on the speed of your receiving country. While Mayze isn’t responsible for delays caused by customs, we actively support a smooth clearance by providing complete documentation, coordinating with the carrier/broker, and assisting you with any information requests until the order is released for delivery to your home.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure every piece reflects high quality and fair value. To meet client demand efficiently, we operate through several warehouses in Asia, North America and North America. Orders are shipped from the location best able to process and deliver them quickly. If needed, special shipping requests must be arranged with our team prior to the beginning of the production of the order.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
